I hold an AAS degree in SCADA Automation from Mitchell Techincal Institute. I currently work in Maintenance at Orion Food Systems where I work on both electrical and mechanical systems. I maintain many Allen Bradley PLC’s and have recently implemented a new system based on Horner PLC’s and PowerFlex 4/40/520 VFD’s to automate the sauce production room.
In my spare time I am developing a DCS software suite to allow user devices to communicate with Modbus devices through a JSON REST API on Apache/PHP. This system will also utilize a secure login system with per-user permissions for individual equipment.
